GARDEN BIRDS
Bad start to the day with the discovery of two dead baby blackbirds, about ten yards from the nest. At least, the blackbird babies from the first nest, two of them, seem to be thriving after a shaky start and are playing around in another corner. Wonder if the parents will start nest three now? But the day brightened up as loads of other babies appeared. The sparrows seem to be especially productive this year and are very busy. The robins too have had a baby. He or she looks much bigger than the parent who I photographed feeding a tasty morsel.
