A Lady of Letters
by Alan Bennett

A lady of lettersJudy Donovan is cast as the hilarious Irene in A Lady of Letters, one of Alan Bennett's Talking Heads monologues.

In A Lady of Letters, Irene spends her time writing letters to everyone from the local council, undertakers, the crematorium to the Queen herself!
